Restaurant, Interior Buildout

At this casual restaurant, quiet colors, honest materials, and abundant daylight create an inviting, contemporary interior inspired by nature. Photographic murals of live oaks at larger-than-life scale cover sliding panels that can divide the dining room into intimate spaces. Hung from the high ceiling, a sculpture made with “twigs” of milled walnut is an abstract vision of a bird’s nest. Sky-blue walls, walnut paneling, and an earth-toned concrete floor bring the palette of the outdoors inside.
