Ground-Up, Visitors Center and Administrative Offices
This 150 year old cemetery had outgrown the small cottage that housed it’s administration offices. This lead to a rethinking of the entire cemetery entrance and visitor experience, anchored by a new administration building and visitors center with a common central lobby. Granite walls reference the stone used throughout the cemetery, with bronze infill panels left to age naturally, alluding to both time and permanence. A relocated maintenance shop, new parking, and new entry road round out the project.
